Scholarship Requirements:

be a woman who self-identifies as such and be at least 25 years old at the time of application deadline;
Except for the Trinity Washington University programme, you must be a national of one of the countries on the MMEG Country Eligibility List.
When submitting their application, they must be registered (not merely accepted) in a recognised in-person academic institution.
After receiving the MMEG stipend, aim to enrol for at least one full academic semester (half-year term).
plan to graduate within three years of receiving the MMEG scholarship;
You must not be related to a World Bank Group, International Monetary Fund, or Inter-American Development Bank employee, spouse, retiree, or MMEG Board member.

Scholarship Duration and Reward for The Margaret McNamara Educational Grants (MMEG) Scholarships

The grants will run for the duration of study with full sponsorship

Required Documents

All of the documents listed below are required to complete your application.

Please scan the following documents in digital form (pdf preferred, jpeg or png) before beginning the MMEG application process:
Identification (ID) card with photo: (a) national passport page with photo and date of birth, if studying abroad, or
(b) a government/university-issued identification card with a photograph and birth date;
Most recent proof of official university registration (not an acceptance letter);
Official university transcripts and/or reports from the most recent semester
If studying outside of your home country, include a visa page or a study permission page in your current passport.
In the case of dual citizenship, a second passport page with a clean photo is required.
At various points throughout the online application form, you will be required to upload these documents. You will also supply:
Briefly describe your life narrative and how your studies, experiences, and future ambitions are related to your commitment to women and children in poor nations.
An estimate of your financial condition for the upcoming academic year, including living expenses, as well as methods for meeting financing demands;
A synopsis of your thesis (if applicable), covering its objective, methodology, and findings, as well as their relevance to your career aspirations.
